About Me

I have had a deep love for improving the well-being of others.  I have my undergraduate degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida and a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado.  I grew up in Washington State and eventually moved to Colorado to enjoy the mountains and beautiful sunshine.  I started my career working with Adolescents in residential treatment as well as in a school setting.  I then took time to raise my 3 children with my husband before coming back to counseling.  I am so glad I spent this time learning from them and growing with them before coming back to counseling.  This time proved to be so important in the development of my practice. Through Peter Levine's training in Somatic Experiencing and Diane Poole Heller's Attachment work DARe, I have now honed my skills in the area of attachment, trauma and relationships.  I have a deep understanding of how much our relationships are impacted by our attachment styles.  And most importantly how to improve how we relate to each other and increase our aliveness and vitality!

As a therapist, I strive to help people make new discoveries about themselves and find what might help them overcome the obstacles they face. My clients trust me to guide them on their journey to achieve the goals they set for themselves. As someone who understands the transformative power of therapy, I’m passionate about learning, listening, and bringing balance and wellness to the lives of my clients. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, and if you or someone you love is going through a difficult time of depression, anxiety, or another mental health issue, please contact me to setup a consultation.
